Health Services Innovation Tasmania (HSI Tas) is inviting clinicians and other staff working in the Tasmanian primary health and acute care sectors to attend a one-day workshop in Hobart on Friday 25 July 2014, 9.00 am to 4.30 pm, to learn more about the Clinical Redesign process.
‘An Introduction to Clinical Redesign’ will be held at the University of Tasmania, Domain campus ( 71 Brooker Ave, Glebe) and precede the Tasmanian Health Conference 2014, scheduled for 26-27 July.
The morning session will feature experienced HSI Tas clinical redesign staff as well as top-level Australian clinicians discussing their Clinical Redesign journeys. Focus areas include emergency care access, elective surgery waiting times, sub-acute and outpatient programs.
The afternoon session will involve small-group workshopping of clinical redesign scenarios, assisted by the visiting clinicians. Clinical Redesign may be utilised in the full spectrum of hospital services, as well as improving the patient care provided by related out-of-hospital services. Professional development points will apply for attendance. There is no charge to attend the workshop, but as numbers are limited to 70 attendees, bookings are necessary.
